Oil Painting
Rich, textured brushstrokes for a classic painted-canvas look.

When to pick it
Oil Painting renders your design as a classic painted canvas, with rich color and visible, textured brushstrokes. Edges soften, surfaces gain body, and the whole image takes on the weight of a gallery piece. It moves a building away from the diagram and toward a feeling of place, history and permanence.
When to use it
- cultural, civic and heritage projects where a sense of tradition supports the story
- residential projects for private clients who respond to warmth more than precision
- cover images for a project book or a lecture
- hospitality interiors such as hotel lounges, restaurants and wine bars
- commemorative pieces showing a finished building
It is less suited to stages where people need to check dimensions or detailing.
What it does to materials and light
Every surface becomes paint. Stone and plaster take on layered strokes with small shifts in hue, timber reads as warm streaks, and water or glass turns into broken reflections. Light is treated with a painter's logic: highlights are thick and bright, shadows lean toward deep warm or cool tones rather than gray. Skies often carry a lot of the mood, so weather and time of day have a strong effect on the outcome.
Tips for better results
- Choose a view with a clear focal point, such as an entrance or a lit window; painting rewards composition.
- Describe the atmosphere in the prompt: late afternoon sun, misty morning, warm interior glow.
- Moderate detail in the input works best; very dense geometry can turn muddy.
- Keep the color palette in mind, as the style intensifies existing tones.
- Try a few variations, since the brushwork changes from one result to the next.
Oil Painting is offered in Image to Render, Conversational Edit and Edit Canvas. For a lighter painted look, see Watercolor.
