Rendair Student Competition at ITU
Two hours, teams of two to five, one board each. The Istanbul stop of the Rendair university competition series, building toward a 2027 tour.
Part of the Rendair university competition series: one format in every country, building toward a 2027 tour. After Córdoba, the series comes to Istanbul Technical University.
The competition runs during ITU's Wednesday AI class and is open to students from every design discipline. Teams of two to five get a short Rendair inspiration video a day or two before, then have about two hours on the day to develop a proposal.
What teams hand in
Everything goes on one shared board: plans, sketches, renders and a short video. Start from a hand drawing with sketch to render, try a few style transfers on the strongest view, and turn a still into motion with image to video.
How it is judged
A jury picks three finalists, and each team presents its board in three to five minutes. Finalists win Rendair subscriptions, and first place also takes a gift card.
The day after
Stay in town for Rendair on Tour Istanbul at Kolektif House Levent: talks and live demos for practising architects and designers.
