Can I export a 3D model to SketchUp, Revit or Blender?

Sometimes. Image to 3D Model and Floor Plan to 3D Model give you a GLB file you can download. GLB opens in Blender and many other 3D programs. If your software does not open GLB files, convert the file to another format such as OBJ first. Rendair does not export directly to SketchUp or Revit formats.

Sometimes. Rendair can create 3D models, and you can download them as GLB files to use in other software. It does not export directly to SketchUp or Revit formats.

Which tools create a 3D file

  • Image to 3D Model: turns a photo or image into a 3D model.
  • Floor Plan to 3D Model: turns a floor plan into a 3D model with walls, openings and furniture.

Both give you a GLB file.

Using the file in your software

  • Blender and other 3D programs: many open GLB files directly.
  • SketchUp, Revit or other software: if your software does not open GLB files, convert the file to another format such as OBJ with a free converter, then import it.

3D scenes created with Image to Scene download as SPZ files, which are viewed in a compatible viewer and are not intended for CAD or BIM software.
