What is Astra?
Astra is Rendair's 3D model tool. It reads a floor plan, a photo, a render, a sketch or an elevation and builds an editable 3D model with walls, openings, furniture, roof and site. You use it in the Image to 3D Model and Floor Plan to 3D Model tools, and you download the result as a GLB file.
Last updated October 26, 2026
Astra turns a drawing or an image into a 3D model you can use and change.
What Astra can read
- A floor plan.
- A photo of a building.
- A render, a sketch or an elevation.
What it builds
A clean, editable 3D model with walls, openings, furniture, a roof and the site around it. Because the model is built from a stored reading of your input, it can be revised afterwards.
Where to use it
- Floor Plan to 3D Model: start from a plan.
- Image to 3D Model: start from an image.
Detail levels and credits
You choose how detailed the model should be. A higher level uses more credits.
Detail | Credits |
|---|---|
Draft | 45 |
Standard | 60 |
Detailed | 75 |
Your result
Download the model as a GLB file and open it in your 3D software. If you only need a quick 3D object from an image, Image to 3D Model can also use a lighter option that costs 2 credits.
