Sketch, elevation and SketchUp to render with AI by Pedro Enrriques
Pedro Enrriques tours Rendair's create and edit tools, from text, elevations, sketches and a SketchUp scene to seasonal variations, edits and a short video.
Pedro Enrriques makes 3D, rendering and AI content for architects, interior designers and students. In this long walkthrough he goes through most of Rendair's creation and editing tools one by one, with his own projects and drawings. It works as a broad overview if you want to see what each tool does before choosing where to start.
What you'll see
- He tours the homepage and the editor, then uses Text to Render to describe a house in the style of a famous modernist architect, set in a forest. He picks a realistic style and a wide format.
- In Elevation to Render he turns a low-resolution house elevation into two options. One is strong and one he rejects.
- He opens the good result in the editor and uses Remove Objects with a polygonal lasso to clear items from a wall, then runs a second pass on what remained.
- In Sketch to Render he uploads a rough facade sketch, adds keywords and asks for a white house with blue-tinted glass.
- He upscales the favorite to 4K and points out the option to improve people and animals.
- With a SketchUp scene in the app then called 3D base to render, the first result changes chairs and table colors too much. He lowers creativity and specifies grey chairs, and the second pass is closer.
- In Image to Render he restyles a clean office into a modern gaming setup.
- In Render Variation he turns a summer exterior into winter, with snow on the roof, then into a rainy day with wet asphalt.
- In Image to Video he crops a vertical frame and prompts a cinematic forward camera move.
- In the editor he uses a smart selection tool to pick a wooden counter in one click and changes it to dark marble with Select and Modify.
Takeaways
- He recommends writing prompts in English and being precise, since vague prompts let the AI drift from your model.
- He generates at least two options each time, because one often misses while the other works.
- He likes the artistic styles, such as hand drawing, watercolor and collage, for making presentation booklets feel less rigid.
- He calls targeted editing his favorite feature, as it changes one element while keeping reflections and the rest of the image intact.
- He mentions that hovering over each tool links to a short demo video, which helps when you get stuck.
Try it yourself
Try Sketch to Render or 3D Model to Render on your own drawings, then use Select and Modify, Remove Objects and Render Variation to refine.
The video is in Portuguese.
Recorded with an earlier version of Rendair, so some screens and app names look different today.
