Rendair

Can I use reference images to guide the output?

Yes. Add reference images in the advanced settings of the create tools to show Rendair the mood, the materials, the light or the setting you want. Then use Reference strength to set how closely the result follows them. A reference is best when it shows one clear idea.

Yes. A reference image says what words cannot, and it is one of the best ways to control the result.

How to add a reference

  1. Open a create tool, such as Sketch to Render or Image to Render.
  2. Open the advanced settings.
  3. Add one or more Reference images.
  4. Set Reference strength and generate.

What a reference can show

  • A mood or a lighting style.
  • A material or a finish.
  • A setting, such as a street or a landscape.
  • The look of a style you want to match.

Reference strength

A higher value follows the reference more closely. A lower value uses it as a gentle hint.

Tips

  • Use a reference with one clear idea. A crowded image gives a less clear result.
  • Combine it with a written description of what you want.
  • The Prompt Assistant can look at your references and improve your description.
