What level of detail does my 3D model need?
Your 3D model can be simple. A basic massing model with clear shapes, openings and correct proportions is enough. Rendair keeps the geometry and adds materials, detail, light and context based on your prompt. Fine details and textures are not required. Keep the file under 100 MB in GLB, GLTF, OBJ or STL format.

What matters
- Clear main shapes and correct proportions.
- Openings for doors and windows where you want to see them.
- A good view of the model before you upload.
What you do not need
- Detailed textures or materials. You can describe them in your prompt.
- Very fine detail. Extra detail does not improve the result.
File requirements
Use GLB, GLTF, OBJ or STL, up to 100 MB. If your file is larger, simplify the model or remove hidden geometry before exporting.
