Organize architecture projects with Boards
Use Boards to collect references, notes and renders on one canvas, generate without leaving it and collaborate with your team and clients.
Melisa RüzgarTutorial VideosBoards is a collaborative workspace for each project. Instead of keeping ideas spread across folders, emails, screenshots and browser tabs, you can bring sketches, references, notes and renders together in one place and create directly from the canvas.
Set up a board
- Create a board. Start a new board and give it a name.
- Add your material. Upload sketches, renders, reference images, moodboards, site photos or any other project assets.
- Set your preferences. Adjust the board preferences so it works the way you like.
- Embed links. Add links from external websites directly onto the board to keep research next to your work.
- Arrange and annotate. Drag and drop items into a layout that makes sense, add text notes for ideas, decisions or meeting notes, and create sections for stages such as concepts, iterations and final designs.
Create from the board
- Select an image to open Rendair's image actions.
- Generate, edit, upscale or create a video without leaving the board.
- Drag results into place to compare versions side by side.
- Explore alternatives by duplicating an area of the board or adding new references, without affecting your existing work.
Collaborate
- Invite teammates to work on the same board in real time.
- Leave comments on images, notes or concepts, and reply to keep discussions attached to the work.
- Generate a public share link to send the board to clients or stakeholders so they can review progress and give feedback.
Tips
- Use sections to keep each project stage clearly separated.
- Keep notes next to the images they refer to, so decisions stay in context.
- Over time the board becomes a visual timeline of the project, from first sketch to final render.
- Boards also supports Rendair workflows for moving through a structured design process.
What to do next
Invite your team to the board, then try generating a first concept from a sketch directly on the canvas.
