Edit renders by chatting with Conversational Edit

Make changes to a render by describing them in a conversation, one request after another, without rewriting your prompt.

Melisa RüzgarTutorial Videos

You have a render you like, but there are still a few changes to make. Conversational Edit lets you edit the image by chatting with Rendair. You can adjust the architecture, change materials, add furniture or rethink one part of the scene, all through a back-and-forth conversation.

Steps

  1. Open Conversational Edit and bring in your render. It can be something you just generated or an image from an earlier session.
  2. Say what you want to change. For example, "make the facade a lighter stone."
  3. Build on the result. Ask for the next change, such as "add some plants around the entrance," then "change the furniture too." Each request builds on the previous result.
  4. Correct and fine-tune. If something is not right, just say so. Try "I like this, but make the lighting warmer" or "keep everything else the same and just change the chairs."
  5. Keep going or switch apps. When you get a result you like, keep working from it in the conversation, or take it into another Rendair app for a more targeted edit.

Tips

  • You do not need to write a new prompt for every edit. Treat the image as an ongoing conversation.
  • Be as specific or as casual as you like.
  • Make one change per message so you can see the effect of each request.
  • It works well in the revision stage, when the design is close and you are exploring small ideas, and for brainstorming new options.

What to do next

For precise changes to exact areas, use Edit Canvas or Annotate Image. When you are done, upscale the final image.
