Short answer:

Directly changing your email address within the account settings is not currently supported. To use a different email address, you generally need to create a new account.

Overview

Your Rendair AI account is tied to your email address as a unique identifier. Because of how subscriptions and project histories are indexed, simply editing the email field is not a standard self-serve option.

If you need to switch to a new email address, for example, moving from a personal email to a professional firm address, the process typically involves setting up a fresh account.

How to switch email addresses

Since you cannot edit the email on an existing profile, the standard workflow involves transitioning to a new account.

  1. Secure your data

Download any important renderings, videos, or assets from your current account. There is no automatic migration of gallery content between accounts.

  1. Manage your subscription

If you have an active paid plan, you must cancel it on the old account to stop billing. Note that unused credits are lost when a subscription is canceled.

  1. Create a new account

Sign up with your desired email address. New accounts receive 20 free Chat credits as a trial.

  1. Delete the old account (Optional)

Once your subscription is inactive and you have saved your files, you can delete the old account directly from the account settings.

Important considerations

Before transitioning to a new email address, be aware of how this affects your data and billing.

  • Credit balance

Credits do not transfer. Any remaining credits on your old account will be forfeited upon cancellation.

  • Project history

Your gallery, saved styles, and previous prompts will not move to the new account.

  • Subscription status

You will need to resubscribe to your preferred plan (Student, Creator, Pro, or Team Pro) on the new account.

If you are part of a Team Pro workspace and need to update credentials without losing access to shared team assets.

If you have lost access to your original email and cannot log in to cancel a subscription.

Pro and Team Pro users have access to priority support and can book sessions to resolve complex account issues.

  • Account deletion

You can only delete an account if there is no active subscription. Ensure you cancel your plan first if you intend to close the old profile.
