Can I correct people without affecting architecture?

Can I correct people without affecting architecture?

Answer

Short answer:

Yes. You can use the editing tools to mask specific areas and regenerate people without altering the building, lighting, or background.

Overview

Entourage elements like people are essential for scale and atmosphere, but they are often the hardest part of a render to get right. Clients may request specific demographics, or the AI might generate a figure that distracts from the design.

Rendair AI allows you to treat these elements separately from the architecture. This means you can refine the "story" of the image, who is using the space and how, without risking changes to the geometry or materials you have already approved.

How it works

The process relies on Fix People tool which updates only the people in the given image.

  1. Upload or select your image: Open the render you want to adjust in the Fix People editor.

  2. Generate: The platform improves the people in the image while keeping rest of the image locked, blending the improve people figures into the existing perspective and lighting.

Capabilities

  • Correct artifacts: Fix distorted limbs or faces that sometimes occur in raw AI generations.

  • Respect the demographics: Respect the original figures to better match the project’s location or target audience.

  • Change activity: Replace static figures with moving ones to add energy to the scene.

When to use this

  • Client feedback: When a client approves the building but dislikes the style or placement of the people.

  • Scale reference: When you need to place a figure next to a specific element (like a door or column) to demonstrate size.

  • Final polish: When preparing a rough concept for a final marketing presentation and the entourage needs to look realistic.

Limitations or notes

  • Lighting context: The AI attempts to match the lighting of the base image. If you add a person into a deep shadow, the result will likely be dark to match the surroundings.

  • Credit usage: Editing and fix people actions consume credits, similar to generating a new image.
