Turn a 3D model into a realistic render
Upload a 3D model or viewport screenshot, describe the look you want and generate a realistic architectural visualization.
Melisa RüzgarTutorial Videos3D Model to Render turns a simple model into a realistic architectural visualization. It works well for early design concepts, massing studies and unfinished models that need realistic materials and atmosphere.
Steps
- Open 3D Model to Render and upload your 3D model or a viewport screenshot.
- Describe the look you want. Include the architectural style, materials, landscaping, lighting and overall mood. Mention the camera angle you are after, too.
- Choose an AI model. Different models give different results. Rendair's own model gives the most consistent results across apps, while other options trade speed for detail. Pick the one that fits your project.
- Click Generate.
- Iterate. If the first result is not quite right, refine your prompt and generate another variation. Small prompt adjustments can make a big difference.
- Refine with other apps. Once you have a strong result, use Change Material to explore facade finishes and Populate Render to add people for scale. These edits happen in the same session, so each change builds on the previous result.
- Upscale. Finish with Upscale to produce a high-resolution image for presentations, competitions or client reviews.
Tips
- The more context you give in the prompt, the more accurately Rendair can interpret your design.
- Be specific about the viewpoint, for example a high oblique aerial view or an eye-level street view.
- Use a fast model for quick concept checks, then switch to a more detailed one for final images.
- Keep the architecture in your first prompt and add people, lighting changes and other details with dedicated apps afterwards.
