Mark up and edit renders with Annotate Image

Draw boxes around the areas you want to change, add an overall prompt and let Rendair apply several specific edits at once.

When client feedback comes in, it often covers several areas at once: a different facade material, new furniture, something different in one corner. Annotate Image lets you show Rendair exactly where each change should happen instead of explaining it all in one long message.

Steps

  1. Open Annotate Image and add your image. Use a render you just created, upload one from your computer or pull in something from your previous generations.
  2. Mark the areas you want to change. Use the annotation tool to draw a box around each part of the image you want to focus on. You can add multiple annotations to the same image.
  3. Fix mistakes as you go. Use the tools on the left to undo, delete annotations or clear your markup and start again. Your original image is not affected.
  4. Add an overall prompt. On the right, describe the bigger direction for the image. Your annotations work together with this prompt to show Rendair what to change.
  5. Choose the number of generations and click Generate. Rendair uses your original image, your prompt and the areas you marked to create the new result.
  6. Adjust and try again. If something is not quite right, change the annotation or the description and generate again.

Create close-ups

Annotate Image is also a quick way to make detail shots. Select an area with the annotation tool, write something like "close up shot" and generate.

Tips

  • Keep each annotation focused on one area and one change.
  • Use the overall prompt for the general direction and the annotations for specific locations.
  • Generate a few options so you can compare how each change was handled.

What to do next

Use Edit Canvas when you want to sketch or mask exact shapes, or Conversational Edit to make changes one request at a time.
