Build a full project in one Rendair session
Learn how sessions work: build on previous generations, restore your canvas with Copy Input, switch the base image and use the right app for each change.
Melisa RüzgarTutorial VideosA session is the timeline of your project in Rendair. Every generation, edit and variation builds on what came before. Once you understand how sessions work, you can iterate faster, stay organized and get more consistent results without starting over each time.
Steps
- Create your starting image. Begin with a sketch and use Sketch to Render to generate a first concept. This becomes the foundation of the session.
- Refine with Edit Canvas. Instead of generating a completely new image, take the result into Edit Canvas. Sketch on the image, mask areas you want to change or add new shapes, for example to extend the building or adjust part of the facade. Generate, and the new result joins the same session.
- Continue from your canvas with Copy Input. Click Copy Input to restore the exact input used for a generation, including your sketches, masks, shapes and canvas edits. Make another adjustment and generate again, as many times as you need.
- Change the base image when you want a new direction. As the session grows you will have several versions. Changing the base image tells Rendair which image to build on next. You do not lose any work; you are choosing a different point to continue from.
- Make targeted improvements. Use Change Material to update facade finishes while the architecture stays the same, then Populate Render to add people for scale and context.
- Explore mood variations. Once the design feels right, use Change Time of Day to create morning, sunset, blue hour or night versions of the same scene.
- Finish with Upscale. When you have picked your favorite version, upscale it for a sharper, presentation-ready image.
Tips
- Build on previous generations instead of starting from scratch.
- Use Copy Input whenever you want to keep editing the same canvas.
- Change the base image to branch into a new direction without losing earlier work.
- Choose the most specific app for each change. If you only want a new material, use Change Material rather than generating a new render.
- Save Upscale for the end, once you are happy with the image.
What to do next
Try the workflow with Floor Plan to Render or 3D Model to Render as your starting point, then refine the result with Edit Canvas.
