Furnish an empty room with Virtual Staging

Turn a photo of an empty room into a furnished interior using a prompt, preset styles and optional reference images.

Melisa RüzgarTutorial Videos

An empty room is a good starting point, but it can be hard to show what the space could become. Virtual Staging lets you test interior styles quickly without modeling everything from scratch.

Steps

  1. Open Virtual Staging and add the empty room. Upload an image directly or bring one in from your previous sessions.
  2. Describe what to add. For example, ask Rendair to furnish a home office with a desk and chair, bookshelves, a task lamp and a few plants. Mention the furniture, the atmosphere and anything to keep in mind about the existing space.
  3. Choose a style. Pick from options like Minimalist, Modern, Vintage, Rustic, Coastal, Industrial, Mid Century or Scandinavian. If none fit, choose Custom and describe your own direction in the prompt.
  4. Add reference images (optional). If you have a specific piece of furniture, material or interior style in mind, upload a reference or load one from your previous work.
  5. Choose the number of generations and click Generate.
  6. Compare and refine. If something is not right, adjust the prompt, switch the style or add a reference, then generate again.

Tips

  • Keep the same room and prompt and only switch the style, such as Minimalist to Mid Century, to see how much the character of the space changes.
  • Use the style options for the overall look and the prompt for specific furniture and details.
  • References are the most direct way to guide a particular piece or finish.
